I really like the style of this, I like that the lines aren't smoothed out and their manes and tails are messy, but similar enough so you can see mother-daughter resemblance. I like the idea behind this, because usually we see Twilight Sparkle going to Princess Celestia for motherly support, but I like that she goes to her actual mother this time, strengthening the bond that a mother should have with her daughter. The leg proportions are perfect, I think. The flanks cutely round downward and then flare outward into adorable marshmallowy-like hooves, and think that's the cutest thing about this. Just the simple cuteness provides a strong feel to this piece with not much detail.
One thing I do have a problem with is the horns. I feel like they are angled awkwardly. They look almost perpendicular to the face, instead of the 45 degrees that unicorn horns usually have.
But I think this drawing is super cute! Keep on drawing, my friend!
this was kinda interesting except i don't think you should have bent Twilight Sparkles leg that way because it seems a little to unnatural also yo u should shade because it adds a lot lot of depth to you drawing. like for example you could have shaded where twilight velvet's tail is because there would be a shadow there depending on what position the light source would be in.I am sorry if this seems really harsh this is a good piece and it has the potential to be more awesome than it already is . i look forward to seeing more of your drawings
Do not mess with foals in front of their parents. This should be basic logic, off-screen asshole. Mothers win. And when they lose, they still win because their kid almost universally survives. And then comes back for vengeance.
There's something in her genetics, I swear. Son can shield a whole freakin' city, daughter can learn any and all types of magic (and eventually gets a set of wings!)... that ain't coincidence, I'm sure of that.
